Processing a Subsequent Submission
Identify a Submission from the Subsequent Queue and select the icon from ‘Go To’ column to open the Subsequent Submission. A new screen will open with information about the Submission including:
•Project Type information
•Information about the Request which solicited this submission
•Spatial data presented in a map
•Grids for each of the types of information that may be included. Only that data which is specific to that type of submission is included.
Each of the pieces of information above can be reviewed to determine enough information is included to review the submission. SHPD Intake Staff have three options for how to proceed, as identified by the buttons at the top-right of this screen.
•Accept Submission: Creates a Submission of the within this existing Project that is identified on the Subsequent Submission. Select this if information is sufficient, appropriate, and satisfies the Request. Upon selecting this option, SHPD Intake Staff will be presented with a screen to assign one or more Reviewers, before the Submission is automatically created by behind the scenes within the Project.
•Insufficient Information: If the submission is appropriate, but it appears to be missing something (such as a file that is named as a needed file, but when opened is incomplete), or a Fee that should have been paid does not appear to have been included, then it can be marked as ‘Insufficient Information’. Upon selecting this option, SHPD Intake Staff will be presented with a pop-up window to indicate what information is missing. This message will be included in an email that is returned to the Submitter. The Submitter will then fix the issues and re-submit; the submission would again appear in this Queue.
Reject Submission: If the submission is inappropriate as an Initial Submission for this Project Type it can be rejected. In this case, the submission ends here, and the Submitter will need to start again. Use this if the Submitter has used the wrong Initial Submission. Upon selecting this option, SHPD Intake Staff will be presented with a pop-up window to indicate why the submission is being rejected so that the Submitter can take appropriate action. This message will be included in an email that is returned to the Submitter.
