Requesting More Information

Any Review may choose to request one or more pieces of information through the Requests grid on a review.

The following list provides a short description of each type of Request.

Asking Questions (Inquiries): When all that is required is a text-based question and a text-based response, Inquiry is the option that should be selected. In the request the question will be specified. A single text-based response is provided.

Requesting Attachments: When requesting Attachments, instructions are specified to direct the Submitter about what specific documents are required. Response can include one or more Attachments.

Requesting Photos: When requesting Photos, instructions are specified to direct the Submitter about what specific Photos are required. Response can include one or more Photos. For example, if a variety of Photos are needed about a building, only a single request is needed, with the specifics of what Photos are required in the instructions.

Requesting Survey Results (Survey): The results of a completed Survey can be requested; the instructions can specify details of how the survey is to be executed or other details of the response. Response includes all required fields of a Survey, and an associated Report.

Requesting an Updated Survey: An updated Survey can be requested; the instructions can specify details of what specifically needs to be updated, and survey in question is specified. Can be used to allow results of a survey to be provided after a Survey Proposal for a non-Surveyor Survey. Only additional details must be specified.

Requesting a Resource: Information about a Resource can be requested. Response includes a Submitted Resource.

Requesting an Updated Resource: An updated Resource can be requested. The instructions specify details of what specifically needs to be updated, and resource in question is specified. Only additional details must be specified.
